Just finished digitizing my entire Minidisc collection! 47 discs of 90s alternative, electronic, and obscure gems. The ATRAC compression has a unique warmth that gets lost in modern digital formats. Currently archiving them with proper metadata and planning to share some rare recordings online soon.

VOID REFLEX DISCOVERY
Found an incredible German darkwave project called Void Reflex. Their album "Neon Graves" is minimalist perfection - haunting vocals over pulsing basslines. Reminds me of early Clan of Xymox but with a more industrial edge.

TETSUO RE-WATCH
Re-watched Shinya Tsukamoto's "Tetsuo: The Iron Man" for the 5th time. The 16mm black and white film, industrial soundtrack, and body horror transformation sequences still feel more cyberpunk than anything made in the last 20 years.

SONY TRINITRON RESTORATION
Finally got my Sony PVM-14N5U CRT monitor working perfectly after replacing capacitors. The colors and motion clarity are incredible - no motion blur, perfect black levels. Playing old games on it feels right.

Discovered a webring dedicated to "Hauntology" - nostalgic longing for lost futures. Sites filled with scanned zines, obscure academic references, and audio clips from forgotten educational films. Digital archaeology at its finest.

Spent the evening exploring GeoCities archives again. The animated mailboxes that will never receive another email. The visitor counters frozen in time. There's something haunting about these digital ghost towns.

Revisiting "Heaven or Las Vegas" for the hundredth time. Elizabeth Fraser's voice is still the most ethereal instrument in existence. The production feels like being submerged in a lucid dream. Timeless.
